The fire & Ice treatment is a combination of pharmaceutical grade masks. Firstly the ‘Resurfacing masque’ which is the ‘Fire’ part of the treatment; is formulated with sugar cane extract (natural source of glycolic acid), Retinol and Niacinamide (vitamin B3). This mask works by gently resurfacing the top layers of the skin and also helping to clear excess oils and impurities. Second is the ‘Rejuvenating masque’ which is the ‘ICE’ part of the treatment; this is formulated with potent antioxidants such as hyaluronic acid, Aloe Vera, grape seed and rosemary extract. This mask works by cooling the skin and hydrating. Lastly, the treatment is completed with a multifunction LED light mask and a unique combination of serums and creams to further promote hydration and nutrient into the skin.

The fire and ice treatment is suitable for all skin types and is for anyone who is looking for a resurfacing treatment with no downtime.

The Fire & Ice treatment takes 60 minutes.

The treatment consists of two stages. The first stage is the ‘Fire’ which will give you a warming and tingling sensation on the skin. The second stage is the ‘ICE’ which will give a pleasant cooling feeling. Overall the treatment is very pleasant and relaxing.

The number of sessions required depends on the skin condition treated. Generally you can see results immediately after the treatment which is great especially for events or as a one-off treatment. For longer lasting results usually a course of 6 treatments are recommended every 4 weeks.

  • Prior to treatment, patients are advised to avoid excessive sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to course of treatment.
  • Patients are advised to avoid deep depth chemical peels and laser resurfacing 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. Superficial/medium depth peels should be completed 2 weeks prior to Fire & ICE.
  • Patients are advised to follow a skincare routine recommended by their practitioner to achieve best treatment results.

Yes, Fire & Ice is very safe. It uses a blend of botanical non-systemic ingredients which are safe to use even during pregnancy.

The Fire and Ice treatment involves no downtime. Some patients may experience mild redness which may last up to 24 hours but generally you can return to your daily activities straight away.

Patients are advised to use a gentle non-abrasive cleanser following the treatment and also to wear a minimum of SPF30 daily and to avoid prolonged and direct sun exposure.

Patient are also asked to stop using any retinol or abrasive products on their skin containing any active ingredients at least 48 hours prior to the treatment in order to avoid over exfoliation of the skin and sensitivity.

The Fire & Ice treatment instantly resurfaces the skin. The skin will feel plumper, smoother and more hydrated immediately after your first treatment. The treatment is a great one-off ‘pre event’ treatment for skin rejuvenation however, for more intensive and longer lasting results a course of 6 treatments is recommended for optimal results.

Following a Fire & Ice treatment patients are advised to keep their skin free of makeup and to avoid heated treatments for at least 24 hours. Patients are also advised to continue using the recommended skincare regime in order to promote further hydration and rejuvenation to their skin. Additionally patients should avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day.
