Each session with Forma takes between 30 minutes and one hour.
While Forma can be used a a one-off treatment it the recommended protocol for skin remodelling is 6 to 8 sessions each one week apart.
There is no downtime from the Forma treatment. It is an ideal ‘pick me up’ as for many patients it will have an immediate lifting and tightening effect which is great before a big event.
For our male patients we recommend to shave day before if any coarse hair are present in the treated areas.
Patients are advised to follow a skincare routine recommended by their practitioner to achieve best treatment results.
Forma is a treatment that most patients enjoy. It is pain free and during session you can feel pleasant warmth with the massage of the hand-piece. It is mostly a relaxing experience that some of our patients compare to hot stone massage.
Depending from initial skin condition some results can be seen immediately after the first treatment. The skin will appear fresh, rejuvenated and plumper. Optimal results are seen around 3 to 4 months after a full course of 6 to 8 treatments. For long lasting results we recommend top up sessions every 1 to 3 months.
Following a Forma treatment patients are advised to drink plenty of water, wear SPF and follow their recommended skincare regime. Importantly, with Forma there is no downtime and you can go about your normal activities immediately.
