Berkshire Aesthetics is a doctor-led CQC registered medical aesthetics clinic founded by Doctor Selena Langdon in 2017 as a ‘Home Counties haven’ for aesthetic treatments.
Dr Langdon is supported by Dr Paris, Dr Mira, and a team of exceptional aesthetic therapists who provide an extensive range of injectable, skincare, and device-based treatments. Support our practitioners are our front-of-house and administration teams who are integral to the patient journey and ensure our clinic operates efficiently.

Dr. Selena Langdon (MBChB BMedSci MRCS) has considerable experience in both Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. She graduated from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree and has trained under both the Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal College of General Practitioners.
She is highly skilled in the field of aesthetics is a Global Key Opinion Leader for Allergan and a Country Expert for Texone. She was also shortlisted for the 2019 Safety in Beauty Aesthetic Doctor of the Year and was awarded the title in 2021.
She was named in the Tatler Cosmetic Surgery Guide as the Top Doctor for body treatments with CoolSculpting. She works as a global KOL for Allergan and their CoolSculpting treatment, regularly presenting on the topic of fat freezing having invented the CoolCodes® which is a novel approach to cryolipolysis.
Dr Langdon works to promote the development of aesthetics as a recognised field of medicine and offers treatments that promote the protection and maintenance of her patient’s health. She has worked to lobby the government for change to the regulations meeting the Prime Minister in 2018 to highlight the risks associated with non-medics performing aesthetic treatments. She has also written on the topic of device safety. She is a Key Opinion Leader and is a key member of the team helping to shape the future regulations for aesthetics in the UK with the JCCP.
Through her training in Plastic Surgery and General Practice, Dr Langdon has developed an intimate knowledge of human physiology as well as mental and emotional wellbeing which she uses to assess a patient’s physical and emotional health.
Her treatment programs are designed to protect, maintain, or restore health and regularly use treatments in combination to effectively treat disease and physical degenerative conditions most often related to ageing.
Dr Langdon believes in maintaining a caring and personal service for each patient and offers an open and transparent patient journey that encompasses a thorough consultation (including a full medical history and assessment), unhurried treatments, and follow-up (including out of hours access and support).
While her busy clinical schedule sees her treating around 80 patients each week she still has time to invest in training having recently undertaken advanced studies in skin cancer, dermatology, and travelled to Los Angeles to study under Dr Arthur Swift. Dr Swift is one of the pioneers of aesthetic injectable treatments and is considered by many to be the most proficient injector in the world.
Dr Langdon has excellent knowledge of human anatomy which she gained whilst training in Plastic surgery at many of London’s top teaching hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’ and the Royal Free Hospitals. She has worked alongside some of London’s most well-known Cosmetic surgeons and has experience in ENT, Breast, and Vascular Surgery.
As a doctor whose skills and knowledge go beyond aesthetics and she remains in touch with general medical trends and provides support and advice to her patients as well as regularly appearing on LBC Radio and BBC Radio Berkshire.
