Profhilo Cost & Price UK

What Profhilo costs per session, per course and per year, what changes the price, and what to check before booking.

Book Consultation

Berkshire Aesthetics is a CQC-registered medical aesthetic clinic in Maidenhead. All treatments begin with a consultation to assess suitability, medical history, risks and realistic outcomes.

Understanding Profhilo pricing

Profhilo is usually advertised per session, but the standard face protocol is two sessions, followed by maintenance. The figure worth comparing between clinics is the cost of the full course, and what it costs to keep the result over a year.

Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment for skin quality. It is placed at five points on each side of the face and spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration, elasticity and firmness. It does not add volume or change facial shape, which is why it suits early crepiness and loss of ‘bounce’ rather than hollows or sagging.

What changes the cost

Course versus single session. The face protocol is two sessions. A clinic quoting one session is not quoting the full treatment, so compare course prices.

Area and dose. The face uses one 2ml syringe per session. Larger body areas use Profhilo Body, a 4ml dose, which costs more per session. The neck, décolletage and hands are planned at consultation according to the area and the skin.

Maintenance. Results typically last around six months, after which most patients have a single maintenance session. Including this gives a truer picture of what Profhilo costs over a year.

Whether Profhilo is the right treatment. Profhilo improves skin quality. If the main concern is hollowing, loss of definition or sagging, dermal fillers, Profhilo Structura or a different plan may suit you better. Paying for the wrong treatment is the most expensive outcome.

How to compare clinics

Profhilo prices vary across the UK, and the lowest per-session price is not always the lowest total. When comparing quotes, ask:

  • Is the price for one session or for the two-session course?
  • Is it genuine Profhilo from IBSA, and is the syringe opened in front of you?
  • Who injects it: a doctor, a nurse or a non-medical practitioner?
  • Is there a medical consultation first, and a review after the course?

Our current prices for every treatment are on the prices page.

What is included at Berkshire Aesthetics

Treatment starts with a consultation with one of our doctors, who reviews your skin, your medical history and what you want to change, and checks whether Profhilo is the right choice. If it is not, they will say so and discuss alternatives such as polynucleotides, Profhilo Structura or dermal fillers.

Profhilo is injected by a doctor at our CQC-registered clinic on Furze Platt Road, Maidenhead, under the clinical governance of Dr Selena Langdon, our Medical Director. We review your skin after the course and agree whether and when a maintenance session makes sense.

Profhilo cost FAQs

How much does Profhilo cost in the UK?
Profhilo is priced per session, and a face course is two sessions about four weeks apart. At Berkshire Aesthetics in Maidenhead, a face session (one 2ml syringe) is £390, so the two-session course is £780. Profhilo Body, which uses a 4ml dose, is £770 per session. Your plan and exact price are confirmed at consultation.
Why do I need two sessions of Profhilo?
The standard face protocol is two sessions about four weeks apart, because the effect on hydration, texture and firmness builds across both treatments. A single session costs less but is not the full protocol, so it is worth budgeting for the course from the start.
How much does Profhilo cost per year?
Most patients have the two-session course and then a single maintenance session around every six months. At our prices that is £780 for the course plus £390 for one maintenance session, about £1,170 in the first year, and about £780 a year after that if you keep a six-monthly maintenance session. Your plan may differ, and outcomes vary by individual.
Is Profhilo cheaper than dermal fillers?
Per session the prices are similar, but the two do different jobs. Dermal fillers add volume and shape; Profhilo improves skin quality without changing facial shape. If volume loss is your main concern, Profhilo will not replace it, so the better value is the treatment that matches the concern.
What is the difference between Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo is placed in the skin to improve hydration, texture and firmness. Profhilo Structura is placed deeper to support the lateral face where fat pads have thinned, and is priced from £490 per session at Berkshire Aesthetics. Your doctor will advise which, if either, suits your face.
Who injects Profhilo at Berkshire Aesthetics?
Profhilo is injected by one of our doctors at our CQC-registered clinic in Maidenhead. Injectable treatments at Berkshire Aesthetics are always performed by a doctor, following a consultation that checks your medical history and whether Profhilo is the right treatment for you.
Who is Profhilo not suitable for?
Profhilo is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where there is active infection or inflammation in the area. It is also the wrong choice if the main goal is lift, contouring or volume restoration. Your doctor will discuss alternatives if Profhilo is not the right fit.

During your consultation, your clinician will explain what the treatment can realistically achieve, any risks specific to you, and whether an alternative might be more appropriate.
