Why dark circles need different treatments
Pigment, visible vessels or hollowing: the cause of dark circles decides the treatment.

Dark circles are not all the same, so one treatment does not suit everyone. Some are pigment: brown colour in the skin itself. Some are vascular: blue or purple from blood vessels showing through thin skin. And some are shadows from hollowing under the eye. Pigment and visible vessels can respond to laser and light treatments, such as the Lumenis M22. Hollowing is about volume, so it is usually assessed for other approaches, such as tear trough filler or polynucleotides. Many people have a mix, which is why we start by working out the cause. Results vary from person to person. Book a consultation with a member of our team at Berkshire Aesthetics in Maidenhead.
