What does a CO2 laser actually do? It is one of the most established ways to resurface skin. The laser creates thousands of tiny treatment columns in the skin, leaving untouched skin in between, which helps it heal. As the skin repairs, it makes new collagen. At Berkshire Aesthetics we use the Alma Hybrid, which combines the CO2 wavelength with a gentler 1570 nanometre wavelength, so settings can be tailored to your skin. It is used for acne scarring, sun damage and uneven texture. Most people need one to three sessions. Results vary from person to person. Book a consultation with a member of our team in Maidenhead.
