Frequently asked questions about Botox in Maidenhead

How much does Botox cost in Maidenhead?
At Berkshire Aesthetics, anti-wrinkle injection treatment starts at £240 per area for standard strength. High-strength formulations and multi-area packages cost more — confirmed during your consultation. Most patients have 1–3 areas treated; common combinations are forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet.
Is the Maidenhead clinic doctor-led?
Yes. All Botox prescribing and clinical oversight is by Dr Selena Langdon, MBBS, GMC 6159259, Medical Director. Treatments are delivered by Dr Langdon or by a member of our clinical team of GMC-registered doctors operating under her clinical governance. The clinic is independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Can I have Botox the same day I come in?
No. As a doctor-led clinic, we always conduct a face-to-face medical consultation first with a cooling-off period before treatment. This is standard UK best practice for injectable aesthetics and a non-negotiable safety policy at Berkshire Aesthetics.
How long does Botox last?
For most patients the effect develops over 7–14 days and lasts around 3–4 months for first treatments. Repeat patients often see a gradual extension, with maintenance every 4–6 months being typical. Individual response varies.
Where in Maidenhead are you?
We are on Furze Platt Road, SL6 6PR — approximately 5 minutes from Maidenhead town centre with free on-site parking. Maidenhead station (Elizabeth Line, GWR) is a short taxi ride away.
Do you treat areas other than face wrinkles?
Yes, anti-wrinkle injections also have well-established medical uses for jaw clenching/masseter reduction, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and migraine prevention. Suitability for each is assessed at consultation. We do not offer same-day treatment for any of these without prior medical assessment.
I am coming from outside Maidenhead — is it worth the trip?
Patients regularly travel from Windsor, Bracknell, Reading, Slough, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Beaconsfield and across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. The clinic has free on-site parking and is well-connected by road and rail. See our Areas We Serve page for travel guidance.
What if Botox is not the right treatment for me?
We will tell you honestly at consultation. Sometimes the right answer is dermal filler, a skin-quality treatment like Profhilo, a Morpheus8 course, or no injectable treatment at all. Doctor-led clinics decline patients where suitability is unclear — we are not a sales-led salon.

Why we start with a consultation

Every treatment begins with a medical assessment. We need to understand your medical history, current health, skin condition and concerns before prescribing any procedure. This protects your safety and ensures the treatment is clinically appropriate for you.

During your consultation, your clinician will explain what the treatment can realistically achieve, any risks specific to you, and whether an alternative might be more appropriate. Consultations are carried out by our doctors or advanced aesthetic practitioners, depending on the treatment or concern being assessed.

All bookings are subject to our Booking Conditions.
