Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have both treatments at the same time?

Yes, combining anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers is common and often provides comprehensive rejuvenation. This is sometimes called a "liquid facelift". One of our GMC-registered doctors can advise on the best combination for your concerns at consultation.

Which lasts longer?

Dermal fillers are long-lasting, typically 6-18 months depending on the area and product. Anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine and their effect is temporary; we don't advertise specific timings, as duration varies between individuals and is explained at your consultation. Outcomes vary by individual.

Which is more painful?

Both treatments involve small injections and most patients tolerate them well. Dermal fillers often contain lidocaine (anaesthetic) for added comfort. Numbing cream can be applied before either treatment if preferred.

Which should I try first?

This depends on your primary concern. If you have dynamic wrinkles (lines that appear when you move your face), start with anti-wrinkle injections. If you've lost volume or want enhanced lips/cheeks, start with fillers.

Which is right for you?

The best treatment depends on your individual concerns, skin type, and goals. Here are some general considerations:

  • Choose anti-wrinkle injections if your main concern is dynamic wrinkles (lines that appear when you move your face)
  • Choose dermal fillers if you want to restore lost volume, enhance lips, or define your jawline
  • Consider combining both if you have both movement-related lines and volume loss
  • If you are unsure, a consultation will help clarify which approach addresses your specific concerns

This is general guidance only — treatment suitability is always confirmed during a clinical consultation.
